Kristin Cox
Head Coach

Kristin Cox enters her first season as the head coach of the women's soccer team after three seasons as the assistant. She played four years at Lubbock Christian University where she was All-Conference Second-Team in 2014. Cox, formerly Fellows, married ETBU head men's soccer coach Chad Cox on December 28, 2018.

  • Graduated from Lubbock Christian University in 2015 with a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance
  • Earned a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Lubbock Christian University in 2016
  • Earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from East Texas Baptist University in 2018
  • Played for Athletes in Action in summer 2015 in Canada
  • Played for Athletes in Action in summer 2016 in France and was coached by former ETBU head coach Erik Solberg
  • Volunteered as a summer coach for LCU soccer camps
  • Served globally in missions in Costa Rica and Guatemala and studied abroad in England, Spain, and Ghana
  • Head coach for the North Texas Olympic Development Program 07 girls
  • USSF Certified C License
  • USC Certified Goalkeeping I and II License

Playing Career

  • Four-year letterman at Lubbock Christian University
  • Played soccer and volleyball at Lubbock Christian University
  • CoSIDA Academic All-District Selection
  • Second-Team All-Conference in 2014
  • Played in 50 career matches
  • In 2013 had two goals and four assists for eight points
